As seniors at the University of Minnesota (go Gophers!), we lived in a house with four other guys. We spent a lot of time that year watching movies — and arguing about them. Most nights, you could find us fighting over our Top 5s: Top 5 movie detectives, Top 5 actresses named Jessica, Top 5 Scorsese films…you get the idea. From Die Hard to Taxi Driver to Spaceballs, we loved movies almost as much as we loved beer. And we still do.
Fast forward to 2005. We wanted to make Mom and Dad proud and do something with our passion for movies — besides just shooting the breeze. That’s when we came up with Top5Flicks.com. We get to do what we love — watch movies, debate them and concoct Top 5 lists. And best of all, we get to share our favorites with other folks like you.
